A new home for Beneath the Crust
Bringing the recipe box back online.
Hello everyone,
It’s been a little while!
When we closed down the original blog a few years ago, we knew we couldn’t quite let these recipes just disappear. Over the years, we have found ourselves looking for our own recipes and fielding requests, only to realize that everything was filed away in a deactivated account.
We’ve spent the last month moving everything over here to Substack. Our goal isn’t to start a high-pressure newsletter or a brand-new blog; we simply wanted a permanent, easy-to-use home for the Beneath the Crust collection.
Think of this as a digital version of that old wooden recipe box on the counter—the one with the smudged cards and the tried and true favorites.
What will you find here?
All the old recipes are here and searchable.
We’re not planning on posting daily, weekly, or even monthly. We’ll just be here in the background making sure these recipes are here whenever you (or we!) need them.

The content did not transfer seamlessly, so expect some hiccups. We are slowly working through the posts and brushing them up. If you notice something egregious, you’re welcome to message us directly for a quicker fix!
We’re so glad to have this collection back in one place. And who knows? Maybe we’ll find the time to begin posting and sharing what’s cooking again.
